Product Review: Glutathione
The Powerhouse Antioxidant
Would you believe me if I told you that there was something out there that could slow down your hair from graying? What if you could avoid a cold all winter?
These are just a few things I experience from taking the Bulletproof Glutathione Force.
What is glutathione you ask? Glutathione is one of the strongest antioxidants ( i know, you haven’t even heard of it) and it is a master detoxifier and helps regulate your immune system. Your body produces glutathione naturally but the problem is that with all of our habits and exposures it gets depleted. Poor diet, toxins, air pollution, medications, stress, radiation, alcohol all of these deplete your glutathione levels. When your levels drop, your cells are open to oxidative stress and your liver gets overloaded and is unable to detoxify.
Getting a little more technical, Glutathione is a combination of amino acids cysteine, glycine and gluatamine which are building blocks of protein. As and anxioidant, free radicals get passed from vitamin C to vitamin E to lipoic acid and then to glutathione which then gets rid of the free radicals and recycles the other antioxidants. Glutathione also contains sulfur chemical groups which stick to free radicals and heavy metals which are then carried into the bile and stool and then out of your body. As related to the immune systems it is essential for the production and replication of the white blood cells, lymphocytes.
If this is scaring you don’t worry we have some tips on how to boost glutathione levels.
5 Ways to Boost Glutathione Levels
- Exercise
- Improve your diet
- Eat Sulfur Rich Foods, best eaten raw to maximize glutathione. Spinach, avocado, broccoli, cauliflower, and tomatoes.
- Add Undenatured Grass-Fed Whey Protein to your routine
- This whey protein contains the amino acid precursors to gluathione and a cysteine residue that is highly bioactive for converting to glutathione. It is cold pressed so the enzymes remain in tact. Grass-fed because the idea is to eliminate toxins not add more.
- Supplement
- N-Acetyl Cysteine:
- Alpha Lipoic Acid: Is a disulfide and acts as an antioxidant and neutralizes toxins. It also acts as a co-enzyme to recycle antioxidants. It helps regenerate Glutathiones antioxidant potential
- B6, B12, And Folate in the form of Methyltetrahydrofolate (NOT FOLIC ACID)
- Methylsulfonylmethane: Is a donor of organic sulfur. Sulfur is needed for making alpha-lipoic acid and B1.
- Selenium
- Vitamin C and Vitamin E
- Milt Thistle – source of silymarin which prevents glutathione depletion in the liver. Glutathione is crucial in the liver for detoxification. Liver gluathione levels are depleted from alcohol and general toxic overload.
- Take Bulletproof Glutathione Force
Bulletproof Glutathione Force
This supplement is top notch, however with most great things they don’t come with out a little effort. I’m going to be honest this stuff doesn’t taste good at all. You will have to choke it down but it is worth it. Glutathione is best taken in the morning on an empty stomach or 20 minutes before you eat. Try it for a month you will start to notice the difference. Grab some over here at Bulletproof Executive. Bulleteproof Glutathione is recommended because most other glutathione supplements are broken down by the stomach before the body can absorb it. Bulletproof is specially formulated with lactoferrin so that it can be absorbed into the body.
Tip: If you are going to hit the bar be sure to take a dose before you go out.
